Just curious as if anyone knows what the Power Acoustik A2400DB really puts out at 1 ohm.
I have no clue if my math is right or not but here's my out the ass formula.
Amplifier says 1800w RMS x 1 @ 1 ohm and 2400w MAX/PEAK .5% THD
I know to get a general idea of what your amp will do is add up the amplifiers fuse rating and convert to watts...
160 ampers x 14.4v = 2304w MAX/PEAK
Now class d amplifiers are 75% to 90% efficient so...
2304w MAX/PEAK X .75 = 1728w Max
2304w MAX/PEAK x .90 = 2073.6w MAX/PEAK
Now to try and find true RMS wattage at 1 ohm....
1728w Max/PEAK x .75 = 1296w RMS
2073.6w MAX/PEAK x .90 = 1866w RMS
Anywho if anyone knows what he PA A2400DB really does at 1 ohm RMS please let me know.
