Default 2 15" TC Sounds in a Hyundai Sonata

Ok guys, got some pics of the subs. Just got them in today. Going to be doing a build with 2 15" TC Sounds subs. Gonna throw up some pics and see if anyone can guess them. I purchased them from a user of this site. I'm hoping to have this build finished by my b-day (March 10). It's possible it may be done then, mabye not. Just depends how much time i get to work on, considering i will be out of town for 2 weeks, and unable to do anything.

I already got one side of my new PG RSD65CS comp speakers in. Left side is done. I plan on working on the right side tomorrow.

Right now i got my box with my 2 10's in it where my back seats were. I have my 4 channel for my comps and my monoblock mounted to the top of the box. Also awaiting my audiocontrol 2XS so i can run them active.

I will try to get some pics up tomorrow of my one side of comp speakers installed. I also have to put my headunit back where it goes along with the center panel of my car. That is my task for later today. To get at least those 2 things accomplished.

For reference, in the last picture that is a pack of Virginia Slim Ultra Light Menthol 100's, what my grandma smokes, kinda a for reference thing. LMK what yall think.

Thnx, however i havn't made it that far. I need to build a brace in my car and make a platform for the box to sit on, then get to pete for him to make me plans.

In general though, i'm going to aim for a 7-8 cube ported box that manages to allow me to still see out my back window. Hoping it won't rise above my back deck, so that i can make it look level with that, and mabye do the front with a cutout face on it so it matches up to the sides of my back doors, and do a cutout top that runs right up flush to the doors along with running flush to the back deck.

That's just in general, i'll post up some pics tomorrow of the condition of my car. It still looks rough right now. My headunit is hooked up but sitting in my passenger seat, i got like 7 screwdrivers in my car, 2 rolls of eletrical tape, and my current box with 10's is just kind of sitting back where my back seats use to be. Tons of other random work things in my car as well.

Other stuff still needs to be ordered as well, such as new alt, battery, and another amp to go with my current one, which is a soundstream EGA1700D, haveing trouble locating another.

TC-3000s. And yeah, looks like it is going to be loud. Looking forward to the rest of this build.

thought yall might find this funny from my friend who thinks jl is god.

"why the hell did you buy 15's?! their sloppy as ****! they move too slow and they respond like 12's or 10's, yes they can drop lower but other than that they suck."

Quoted word for word. I lol'd.

Anyways. Too late to really make any progress today on anything other then getting my headunit back in. Mabye i'll take a couple pics.

Lol, wonder why

Anyways, guys, trying to decide on what to run RMS to these subs. I currently have 1 soundstream EGA 1700D. I'm not sure what these could handle daily.

I was thinking mabye strapping another EGA1700D to my current one. I really want these ****s loud and push them to the max.

I could sell my current amp and go with another brand. So reccommend me some amps for these, to make them pound.

Edit: Talked to someone and he said rich ran like 3kwrms to each daily. Anyone know if it's possible to do that to these subs for a daily driver.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...TODAY.m238.lVI

Just purchased 2 of these.

Wire each one to a 2 ohm load, and run one amp to each. Should work out well.

Edit: If i'm pushing 5Kwrms, i would need a 500 amp fuse for up front correct, near the battery. This says for marine use, but it looks like a normal 500 amp anl fuse, this would work fine in my ANL fuse holder correct, and be the correct wattage to run 5Kwrms.

Edit 2: Was also looking into 1 or 2 of these.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SOUND...spagenameZWDVW

To clean up the signal for my bass. Now my question on this is, since each amp will be run seperatly, they will not be strapped, as each sub will be running at a 2ohm load, so do i need 2 of these, one for each amp, as in RCA's from headunit to this, then to amp 1, then output of amp 1 to another of these to amp 2, or do i just need one that runs from headunit to this to amp 1, then output of amp 1 to input of amp 2.

ok guys, need help on fusing my stuff. To fuse from front battery to back ones (once i get them), if i'm running 5Kwrms, then 2 300amp ANL fuses up front should work fine right?

Edit: I'd like if someone could contact me on aim regarding fusing stuff properly. I have a lot to learn about fusing. cegha04 is my aim name, incase anyone wants to talk to me.
