Default replacement speakers for 05 magnum rt

hey i just bought my magnum rt and it has the boston 6 Speaker stereo. and the door speakers are blown. the 3.5s in the dash run the mid to high range and i found the the 6x9s in the front doors only run the low range. the rear 6x9s are full range. and the factory amp is supposedly rated at 288 watts. but if found from others that it doesnt put out rated power. and i was wondering what would be a cheap low Power handling 6x9 that would only need to play low range frequencies?

My suggestion.... If you're on serious budget, get you a cheap 4ch amp(forget your factory one) buy some decent components

well i would but my factory speaker setup is a 6 speaker. and i dont wanna replace the factory 6 disc changer which is built into the radio. i just need to replace the door speakers. but thanks for the idea. its gonna be a fun challenge to put in line converters so i can add subs later on. unless theres a better way to do it.

you can do line out converters off your rear speakers to run the amp, funny integrated still. You're gonna have the doors off any way.

buttttt since you don't want to. I've heard phoenix gold Ti 6x9s in charger's doors, they sounded great but they where amped

If you want it done cleanly and still want to utilize the stock H/U, then do it right the first time and use the 3sixty .1 or .2 either will work for you, or the cleansweep. Both are great choices when keeping a stock H/U, and both offer great adjustability..

Nobody ever says anything about Daytons anymore, I know their made as HT speakers but on a low poewr stock amp they should sound beautiful.

Um, Dayton don't have any 6x9s? And there are quite a few guys on here who recommend them for low cost installs. I bought some 5.25's and tweeters on their rec.

Oh oops I misread op thought was looking for 6.5.

Either way you could use some 6x9 - 6.5 adaptor plates and some rope caulk to seal it all up

so if i wanted to run subs and i used a 3sixty.1 or .2 i would just tap into one of my rear speakers into the high level input for the sub and then run the rca's from the sub output? or take the + from one rear and the - from the other? this is new territory for me. im used to just changing the head unit to an after market one.
