Default brz1200.1 for 2 SA-8s acceptable?

i know the SA line can handle more Power then what they are rated for. so would the brz1200 be too much for 2 sa-8s? or is there a better choice of amps out there? i dont have anything yet but i know im gonna buy the sa-8s. im on a space cruch with my magnum cuz i dont wanna lose much cargo room. and with the sa-8s only needing like .6cu.ft. each ported i wont lose hardly anything. i just dont wanna burn their 2" coils up, but i want an amp that will push them well. and i want something where i dont need to run a second battery. i have a stock 160amp alt. and the battery will be maybe 2' away from the amp since its already in the back of the car. ill upgrade the battery + and - wires but the alt to battery Wire is already a 2awg or larger wire.

Brz 1200 is perfect for 2 d4s. I plan on running two off my bxi 1210. I've seen tons of people on other forums running 600+ Daily without issue

I thought they have 2.5" coils. I have heard of of people that put 1500 rms to a sa12... Just don't clip the signal and you will be fine.

sa 8 has 2" coils, 10/12/15 have 2.5

sa8 is the stepchild of the sa line

well i thought about getting 2 d2s and running them in series/parallel to get a 2 ohm load on the amp so they will see 900rms. but i like the d4s better. dont ask why, maybe just the ease of wiring i guess.

ok so a 2-3' run of 4 gauge wouldnt be a problem for the amp to have plenty of juice going to it right?

Do not buy it from there. I wouldn't at least. They are not an authorized dealer so your warranty won't be valid. Gotta do your research man. Plus I have heard countless stories of VMI delivering DOA products.

And I would 4 gauge at least and a big battery in the back.

You need a long run from the front battery to the back battery and a short ground from amp to back battery and then back battery to frame as short as possible.

Trust Me. You really want that warranty. My friends Hfi went out, and they repaired it. Sonicelectronix has the amp on sale right now for like $152. Which is pretty cheap because Ive seen the price around $200 before.

i dont have a front battery. i drive a dodge magnum and the battery is located in the rear next to the spare tire. and the alt to battery wire is stock 1/0 wire i do believe. i need to upgrade the battery ground and battery to fuse block but otherwise the amp will be less then 3' away from the battery.

well the brz1200 went up to $200 so i was looking around sonic for something else and sticking with hifonics would the brz1700 be too much for the 2 sa-8s? and i was looking at getting the new sa-8 v2. wish i could get in on the preorder though but would the 1700 be overkill? its only $50 more then the 1200

1700 would be fine, you can down gain it to 12-1400 with a DMM.

A smd dd-1 is 150$ a velleman oscilloscope is 120$ and a much better product if you ask me. I would go with the scope.
