Mine does it too, I think it's from my ****ty headunit, never did it w/my old one.

Also, may need to scrape your ground a little better, to bare metal.
Yeah the H/U might be the problem, It was $120 at walmart.... I sanded the ground to bare metal in the floor of my cab when I installed. And it would be a huge pain in the ass to get to it because its under the box and the box is bolted in now, and the box isn't the easiest to get in and out. 2 door trucks FTL.

TheDukey42 Turn your volume down when you get out of the car. Other wise it could be the amp doesn't have a soft shut off or whatever it's referred to as.

It's just a small bump of bass, probably somewhere around the 50hz area. It doesn't do it every time, I was just curious as to whats doing it and if its bad.

Dave_C when ur subs pop like that, its usually a sign of a bad ground

92K1500 I don't have any other pre outs. And is it bad for them to do that? because I have a switch in my remote wire so I can turn off the subs when I don't want them, like when I'm using the truck for a radio in the shop or something, so if it's bad for them to pop I could always turn off the amp before turning off the truck.

Pop Sound Right After Turning Off Radio

Well here is the situation. I believe it happens most after listening to the radio at an elevated volume for good amount of time, but it almost always does it. But when I turn off the truck after about a second or two the subs kick. What would be causing this, and is it bad?
