craigzter I had two cvr 12s and I only ran 360wrms to each one and they sounded just great. I wouldnt put no more than 360-370wrms into it...and make sure to have your gains about 40-50%...Wasnt thinking and I had mine set on 70-80% and turned it up and they bottomed out eek...but ya..about 360-370wrms to that sub and you should be fine.

TheDukey42 No, no need to shoot down equipment, we're not all made of money by any means. Just don't diss this forum when you obviously have no idea of the type of help you can get here or could have already gotten if you would have read previous posts or used the search bar.

Bridge the sub on the amp & look into building or having built a custom enclosure, the junk of a box you have now is worthless, not dissing you, just letting you know the box you have is limiting your sub.
Don't you want to take shot at my wonderful Crunch amp while your at it?

if you have to ask that question chances are you arnt experienced enough to be able to run more than rated power to a speaker

TheDukey42 In fact, now that I think about it if you would read the forum & look around, you could easily answer this question yourself. So next time use your brain & don't be lazy. Don't just come to a forum & expect everyone to teach you everything they know, read old posts, look at sticky's, there there for a reason.

man i'm pissy tonight.

Best way to wire this amp

I have Crunch PZi325.3 2 Ch Amp

1200W 1 / 2-Channel A/B Class Amplifier
300W x 2-Ch @ 4-Ohms or
600W x 2-Ch @ 2-Ohms or
1200W x 1-Ch @ 4-Ohms Dynamic Music Watts

I'll be hooking it up to a single KICKER VCVR12
12" Vented Enclosure with CompVR Subwoofer
4 Ohm Final Impedance
Peak Power Handling: 800 watts
RMS Power Handling: 400 watts

Right now I have it hooked to the left channel of the amp with the rca cable on the HU only on the left side and then a y 1 into 2 adapter where the rca cable goes into the amp. I believe I'm getting 300watts rms right now. I'm thinking about bridging the amp but I'm concerned with hitting the sub with 600w or possibly 1200 according to the specs above. I would like to know the best way to wire it or if it would be advised to just leave it where it's at.
