Definitely easier lol plus it looks better than just a slot in my opinion.

Does it effect the effective length of the port and tuning due to that? Is the effect negligible or do you have to account for it if added? If acounted for is the math the same as it is for a kerf? I asked cuz I wanted a KingPen answer not just something plain

Yea it does look better. You add 1/2 the depth as long as at the half point it doesn't exceed 150% of the width of the port. If it does then you stop counting the additional port length at the 150% line and start counting the rest as a horn.

Not a problem at all. I would like to do that but I think I need to be a vendor on here to advertise so I'll just keep putting them in my little kingpen lounge for now. That way as to not come off as advertising. But even if noone buys them I just like to show off my design work so this is a good place for them
