Treo 18" SSX vs RE XXX 18"

Which would win?

Given:

Same size box, same tuning, same amp, same amount of power. i think the ssx's are 2,500rms while the xxx is 2,000.

say both are powered by 2,000 watt amps

by 'win' i mean loudness, deepness, sound quality, etc.

my xxx sounds pretty ****in sick on 600 watts.. let alone 2,000.. but i've never heard an ssx..

i've also heard that treo is insanely hard to get, and customer service BLOWS. i've heard that people had their **** sent back and didn't get it back for 6+ months..

but i've heard of people putting 5-7,000 on both subs and both seem to handle it..

lol since i ran 4 18" SSX 18's at 4kw rms on each and they didnt sweat.... well Treo is my choice.

i think you'd have something to compare them to if the XXX's werent close to double the price of the treo's

you can get the xxx's for less than retail. but you also have to take into consideration that the box you want to use may not be optimal for either one. and no offense to 2000lade, but until he used a xxx and put 4kw to it i would take his advice with a grain of salt.

oh i know, i didnt pay full retail for mine..

but ive been told multiple times to put 3-4k to this monster instead of 1.5-2..

i WOULD do that, but im afraid of ****ing the sub and being out a LOT of money..even if it handles it.. i dont know if that would be covered under warranty..and/or deal with a recone and all that ****

reconing is easy im a complete newb and successfully reconed my 10" xxx to a 15"

Please please please don't compare the XXX to the SSX. Just saying something like that automatically makes you lose deebeez in the next comp you go to. Seriously, it happened to a friend of mine.

i have had my 12 ssx re coned a few times
lots of comps and to much power
walk in drop it off pick up a new one
if they were out i would get a loaner sx at different ohms to drop the power on the amp

if one was not ready it would be 5 days

This is interesting because i was planning to buy 1 of the xxx18 and then another. The power i have is 2 viper2500d - 5000rms @ 2. I was also really thinking bout getting 2 of the treos instead since theyre cheaper.
But since most say re then re it is. But i dont think ill hav enough power for 2 as u guys say to put plenty more power on it.
