Welp like everyone else i'm going to say it's all in the install, but in my opinion i like the W7.

only reason i say that, is i've heard them in person and have seen them outside of the box in person, sometimes pictures don't do any justice to a sub.

with all that being said i've nevr listend to or seen the RF T2 or the Alpine type X, and i got to believe those are some good subs aswell.

for the price i'd go with a RF T2, If money wasn't an issue i'd get the W7.

Type X and W7 werent meant to "get loud" I thought. From what I hear they are meant for sq but can still get reasonably loud.

The T2 on the other hand is more for SPL uses rather than SQ. Or so I hear...

Like everyone else will always tell you though: it all depends on the install.

w7 was actaully supposed to be the next big SPL woofer but once it cam out ppl realized its more of a sql woofer. it can get loud just ask gmonk and ive personaly sat in a integra with 2 12in w7s and it was loud.but for the money the t2 is winner

I almost purchased the W7 but it was way more expensive then the other options you gave. I instead bought the T2 12 and damn is it really loud, its louder than the type X, one of my buddies has one in a ported box and the T2 out performs it in loudness but its a better sq than the T2. I personally like loud spl , so the T2 is loud has hell. If i wanted sql i would get the w7 but it depends on what you want really. I have heard them all but I like the T2 alot more.

Check out the video of my T2 in action ( this video was taken after 2 weeks of breaking in period), but today its alot louder and moves way more air, then again im not afraid of breaking it anymore so i make it bump.

T212D4 in action:

Check it out its amazing what a little 12 can do haha!!!!11

RF P O W E R series can't be beat for the price. Now there still not cheap, but you will definately get what you pay for in them. I'm about to grab on and I'm just going a single 12 in the RF "powerful enclosure" box. Should slam like all hell in a dodge RAM club cab.

I had one and for two years now, but I disagree... at least if we are talking sheer SPL. I think the W7 might be better for low bass response and I would definitely say that its a damn good SQL sub (albeit expensive). In fact, I was always an SPL guy, but the W7 converted me to the SQL camp. Once you get used to the W7's amazing SQ, you can't go back to a purely SPL setup. I just hope the Orion h2's have a decent sound to them.
