Default sa-12" vs kickers l7 15"

Do you think that the kickers l7 15" will play muchhhh louder than a sa-12" with good ported box or about the same ?

In my opinion I dont know how you can compare a 12 & a 15 inch sub. Bass is totally different. Then you figure in sealed vs ported enclosure and if its the optimum airspace needed. Louder is figurative. However the 15 will play lower. I'm a kicker owner and honestly these two brands shouldnt even be compared to one another. Kicker is a mainstream brand they produce good and affordable products on a much larger scale than SA. SA is more for the extremist with a specific taste who doesnt want average and doesnt mind paying to get it.

Thats real knowledge son!

LoL. . not even close SA all the way. kicker subs are ok at best and the square subs are known to fail rather easy.

Ahhh you must be one of those that believe SA is the best company to ever build a sub or amp.. So kicker is ok at best? So Kicker doesn't produce subs and amps on a larger scale?.....I.e. quantity? applications? products? Wow come back to earth please!

Like I stated there really isnt a comparison between the two companies in the Car audio world. Anyone with the opportunity or $ should pick the sundown! PERIOD!

as far as your question regarding the kinetic an addition of a battery is always helpful but either way your alternator is still gonna have to charge the setup

yup subs are entry level and a little above that..there is definitely better AND worse.

as far as the kinetic goes if its a good deal you can always get it and just set it aside until yor electrical is ready. youve never mentioned what amp you plan on running in my opinion Id run at least 1000watts. depending on the4 vehicle your stgock electrical might support this situation.

Either way big 3 to start!

kicker l7 15: Sd: .1124 sqM; Xmx: 15.24
sa12: XMAX: 19mm one way; couldnt easily find sd but it is nowhere near enough to beat out the l7 15 in pure spl. that being said i think the sa12 would be a better choice for a daily sub, should hold up to abuse ALOT better, and sound really good doing it.

the install bay matra stuff that you will find on there is not ofc copper and it is closer to 2awg. if all you want is 2awg buy quality 2 awg. your best bet is to find some 2/0 welding wire somewhere, it will probably be cheaper than most car audio 1/0 and do a better job, plus it doesnt have to be very flexible to do the big 3

Man i know you guys dislike kicker but come on lets be serious. You cant really expect the sa 12 to be louder than an L7 15. And say what you want to about those subs but i have ALOT of personal experience with them and they do take abuse and will take 1.5 k daily. Personally i dont even think this is a competition. If we were talking about two 15's then ok but i mean come on man give me a break
