It is a fairly gentle flare.

In all fairness tapped horns behave like 6th order bandpasses in some respects. They're like series tuned 6th orders. It's just we use 1/4 wave resonances instead of helmholtz resonance. But the idea is the same, and you end up getting a similar bandpassed response.

to complicate it a bit, this isn't a tapped horn, but a rear loaded horn. So we wouldn't expect the bandpassing affect. But since there is a chamber the back of the sub is firing into, it ends up acting like a parallel 6th order bandpass. I believe this would fall into the compound horn category, but I could be wrong. Anyways It'll be interesting to see how this thing behaves
