I thought I'd give him a shot...well, a Sundown deal kinda fell through before...uh...I thought I needed new 6.5's. Haven't met anyone who runs EMF anything, but they seem to be doing well with their subs. Twice the price for worse speakers? My bad. I even waited since November, through the East Coast shipping strike...my butt hurts...

The baskets and magnets remind me of some used Hifonics components I had - I dug out a set of Zues 6.5" and though not as huge as the others and with chrome plating (heh), VERY SIMILAR MAGNET and close shape of the basket. I can't remember the model, maybe after Zed? anyway...

These things are almost monsters! I think I'll be able to squeeze them into about .25-.3 after looking at the panel and my view out the back window. I've got some test boxes I made for some 6.5" 2-ways that are around .26 cubes that were too small to get a decent bass response out of - maybe the right environment for the SWAGs? GOTTA MAKE 'EM WORK!!!

(I have a video of the stock 15w Toyota speakers that I think sound better too. I wanna wait until I've exhausted the possibilities with the SWAGs before I say anything, though)
