if its a 12v eletrical with a 16v battery you will have well... simple put, a 12v eletrical system. that just means the battery has the capacity to run at 16v.

if you try to run 16v without changing anything, you will mostly fry all of your cars eletronics, such as your instrument cluster, Power windows/etc.

There is no way to do it without changing a bunch of stuff, unless you run a 16v battery that's not hooked up to your charging system, and charge it with a battery charger. I wouldn't work for daily driving, just spl burps though.

for to run 16v, you need a 16v battery, alt & usually an external regulator.. IIRC.
you can't just get a 16v battery & run 16v to your amp, doesn't work like that.

Yeah, but you'd need a Mr. Fusion to Power it right. Who wants to have to drive 88MPH just to do a burp?

What about if you lifted the back end of the car up and spun the tires to 88 MPH? Thank god Gebrochen is here to save the day because I really didnít want to post a full page on why changing from 12 to 16 volts is not as simple as one thinks it is being that I have already said it a bunch of times. 

Carry on Super Gebrochen.
