Default multiple battery question

thinking about running a kinetik in the back of my truck for only my stereo. right now i have a yellow top up front. My question is would it be worth getting it and using an isolator or get 2 and replace the one under my hood as well so i can parallel the batts.??

you only need an isolator if you use your system with your Car off like nick said

I recommend using a high amperage relay to break the connection between the batteries when the vehicle is off to prevent parasitic discharge.
