Default What battery ?

I am going to be running a 1000 rms amp soon and I want to know what battery I would need for under the hood. I was looking at a powermaster d1200, but was not sure how it would do in 10 degree weather. I also thought about getting a powermaster d925 in the trunk, but I only have a 105 amp alt. what should I do?

kinetic? =] And even if you get a bigger one, I'd still keep the stock battery if you can fit them both. I mean, the more the better, right?

How much can you spend? With a 105 amp alt and a big kinetic up front, you should be fine with 1000 watts. Kinetic 2400.

Just keep your stock one, and put the biggest one you can out back.

Is it okay to mix different batteries? I am not sure what type of battery is under the hood now but, its just a normal oem type battery. If I have a kinetik in the back connected to the stock battery will I be fine?

you can mix sizes but not recommended to mix types

Even if they were not the same brand it would work, thing is it can/ will effect the life of the batteries. Best scenario would be 2 of the same type/size/age. Either way It could last for years if propperly cared for but I doubt it would last as long as 2 matched batteries as they would require even less care to do the same thing.
