i have a 92' s10 blazer w/ a 4.3 and im looking for an ho alt for it.. as of right now i have a red top up front and a yellow in the back two runs of 1/0 front to the back then grn to the chassie and grn to the frame also have the big three done im using to memphis 1100s on an fi btl 18 and also have a 4ch memphis bella for mids and highs and still have volt drops into the 10.5-10.8 range when playing real hard while driving even sittin w/ idle up round 2500-2800 w/ a powermaster alt 140amp both batts are brand new.. well a bigger alt help or do i need more batt power??
an alt will definately help, but why did you buy a 140 amp alternator? Seems like a waste of money for such low amperage. Contact Mechman's email at [email protected]. Let him know i referred you and he will Build you a 270 amp alternator. that does well over 140 amps at idle.
