Default PB fitzall vs EA direct bolt ho alt

I got quoted 345$ from ea for a direct bolt on 200 Amp alt for my Car , plus 4-5 business days to make it, than shipping time and cost ( 65$)

The fitzall is 299 , universal fit alt and 220 amps with 45$ shipping and just a wait for shipping

Will the fitzall work.. Or should I just pay the extra and get the direct bolt ?

I had to cut/place a piece of pipe on the lower mounting bracket to keep the altenator from sliding.

Also, the pulleys didnt align so i had to remove the pulley and use a lathe to carve the pulley, then add a washer to put the pully out further..

heres the link i used for info on my civic.

D.I.Y. Fitzall 220amp Alternator 7th gen civic. - Honda Civic Forum

Try googling "fitzall (your car)" you may find info if its direct.

Get the EA and be happy there is a reason the PB is so cheap. Also that EA is probally going to be closer to 220 and it drops right in that seems like a win to me

Whats the idle output of the EA? The Fitzall is only 110, seems a bit low to me. The difference between a 200 and 220 is only going to matter when you are actually doing 2000rpm. Would rather have the higher output at idle.
