Default ABX AGM Batteries
Has anyone heard of these / used these batteries? I have just come across them on a website.

ABXAGM / n/a / Battery

Would this be suitable for Car audio and also as my main battery?

I wont be running the system with engine off.

yes i have the space i think, just have to cut the battery bracket a little, and a 90 amp alt.

ok il look into alternators after ive done the battery, you think that the battery will kill the alt or just not be able to charge it quick enough?

IMO that battery (based on the specs in the link ) is a badass battery... more than enough for your BRZ1700 imo... even with a stock alt...use it as a 2nd battery at the amp and keep the stocker under the hood, do the BIG 3 and call it a day

Still needs to toss the 2 gauge and get some bigger stuff, especially if its a long run..

Yes i have 0 gauge welding wire waiting to be run in to the car including the big 3, and sic i dont have the room to keep it is a second battery as my amp is mounted under the seat so having the battery in the back is not practicle nor can i afford to loose the space as i need to be able to fully empty the boot when loading my PA equipment into the car. will it be ok as main battery, and enough power for the BRZ1700?

should be good as a main battery too... 44ah on a standard battery is not the same as on an AGM they are rated differently. 0G is awesome but not required unless ur run is really long. if ya have it, use it tho it will always be better than not

you should still get an alt, especially if your gonna be playing loud, 90 amps really isn't enough to run the car and system...

will it be enough just with that one battery 80ah as main battery and to power the amp. will only be run with engine on.

and the run is between 3-4 meters from battery to amp.

he is in the UK iirc... not alot of options...while it would help I highly doubt he "needs" it... I ran way more on way less for daily. but every car IS different.

if you run it hard alot then get an HO w/o a doubt...

im only running one type r at the moment so if im running that full im only pushing 800rms to it... enough to need an HO alt just yet?

also would that battery on its own be big enough to allow the amp to push out full power or would i need another battery?

800 rms ur fine now... but the bigger battery is always a good idea...

full tilt ya need at least that battery plus....ur gonna be taxing the electrical to its limits at full tilt.. for 1 or 2 songs sure ...but all the time no way...

ok cheers, i just wanted to know for in the future when i upgrade.

for some reason i had in my head, its 1700rms so you need 170amp so 170ah?

dont know where i got that from or is that how to be safe with the right amount of battery power?
