Default Need big time help

So my amp is cutting out. I can't figure it. It used to not do it. I read jbl amps are sensitive to low voltage, buy I just ran a 50 Hz tone without me sitting in the Car and the voltage dropped to 11.9 full tilt. Nothing to be scare of. Crazy thing is sitting still it can play full blast no problem. Once I start moving it constantly cuts off and on. I don't know. I'm about to call it a wrap. Oh, amp is jbl 14001. One thing is my although usually charges at 14.4 but it was at 13.8. It is also 90 some odd degrees outside. Could a bad although be my prob?

But I didn't think that was enough to shut off an amp. I haven't done big 3 (coming) and I'm getting two 31s. I don't wanna spend all that money and there is something wrong with my amps and not my subs or alt.

sounds like a bad connection somewhere if sitting still your amp doesnt cut out and moving it does i would think to check your ground wire make sure its connection to the chassis is clean and tight i would also check to make sure that the inline fuse isnt bouning around brakeing the connection. also make sure that the remote wire from the HU is solid and not grounding out anywhere, and make sure your sub box is not sliding around pulling on the Speaker wire besides that you could always throw a buddy in the back seat and drive around and see what kinda voltage your getting at the amp when it is cutting out, and if it is shutting off or going into protect. 11.9 is kind of low and can be hard on amps some are more sensitive than others. I would deffinately say do the big 3 regardless. also what kind of car/truck do you drive and what does your battery sit at with the Car off?

i figured the problem out. The power wire wasn't on good and cause some mayhem. It started to melt the bolt to was hooked to and there was liquid metal on the battery from the not that was holding it down. It was on sideways so I guess the nut shook loose hitting road bumps
