Default Questions on setting gains?

I just set my sub amp with my DMM playing a 60hz tone. The calculator thing said about 60v for 1800wRMS into 2ohms but my amp is under rated so I set it to about 2200wRMS into 2ohms which put it to about 65v. What tone do I use to set my component amp? It does 75wRMS @ 4ohms.

I used a 1kh tone to set my front/rear comps... Is 60hz correct for the sub? On another site I seen 50hz.

you can Power an electrical device if you hook it up to an amp and play a 60hz tone

Hmm.. The ROE calculator says about 17.3v for 75wRMS @ 4ohms but with that my gain is waaay down. Max is about 32v with the gain all the way. I have them about 24v now. Is that too much?

I won't mess with them anymore till I put my AudioControl 6XS in since I'll have to reset the gains again anyway.

50-60Hz for the sub amps gain setting.

What amp for the subs are you using?

Components I'd use a 1000Hz sine wave.

Tsunami dB1800T and dB4440... I'm going to have to reset it all anyway when I put in my AC 6XS since it has a line driver.
