Get a drill and make a straight line so a regular screw driver can fit into to remove the old screw

Then take the screw to a hardware store and have then find u that same screw.

drill a small hole in center of screw, get a easy out for that size drill bit. then use the easy otu once the hole is drilled. easyout works in reverse of a normal screw, you put your drill in reverse it digs in the screw backing it out.

id use a easy tou vs a new slot. the new slot may strip then your screwed. its happened to me. just be very easy drillgin that hole in the screw. it should drill it very easily. make sure the hole is centered, and you dotn go farther then liek 3/4 of the way through the screw. dotn hollow it out, then it will break.

if you need more help lemme know. im a marine mechanic so i deal with stripped or stuck screwes all day long.
