Pa P2250d Gain?

I just got my Planet audio P2250D And I can turn the gain all the way up and my speakers can take it with no distortion?I have 2 12 inch Orion xtr prototypes wired to 1 ohm

set gain with a digital multy meter and leave it. if you get clipped signal youll destroy the subs.

I was thinking maybe my head unit has to little volts running outof the pre out? Its a cheap audiobaun.

if you follow the jl audio tutorial and you cant get the voltage then there is a problem. you need to do what that says to set voltage correctly.

if your speakers dont distort enough for you to notice it doesnt mean there nto doing it. clipped signal and distortion can still happen

If your gain has to be maxed, then your HU has hardly and pre-out voltage.

That dosen't sound right to me, and even if you can't hear the distortion, it could be present.

my amps arent installed yet.i still need leik 5 batteries and some other stuff before mine go in

Im getting a new deck soon hopefully this will cure the problem. I think it will cuz My audiocrap only has one rca instead of 2. I had to put a y adapter inline to get 2 rcs's to the amp.
