Default saz-1500d in protect =[

so last night i got in my car, turned it on, and *pop*. i go to the trunk and the bish is in protect it sucks cause i didnt even do anything wrong. anyway, i turn the Car off, back on, the Power light blinks for a sec, then into protect. i checked all connections - theyre all tight.

anyone have any problems like this with this amp? just wanna see everyone elses input. ANY would be GREATLY appreciated =]

Nope, last time I had a protection issue it was user error.

yea ive had protection issues in the past, which i admit was my fault. i since have gotten smarter and learned what not to do lol.

i talked to evan and he said it happened to him once. very rare but its possible. so weird. it sucks so bad.

disconnect the Speaker wire and rcas, turn it on and see if its still in protect, if it is, send it back, if not narrow down the issue from there. I had an issue with my first 1500d 5 minutes after i first started playing it just went in protect and never came out, jacob did an amazing job of getting me a brand new one with extreme quickness.

Jacob has the best customer service around. Hook it all up without the RCAs and see if it goes into protect still.

Low numbers since it does come on, but goes into protection. If the remote or power voltage is extremely low this could cause your problem.

ok so i unplugged the rca's and the subs. still flashing power then going into protect. my dude with the dmm is on his way over so i can check voltage =]

well there was the initial time..which is when i heard the popping sound. ever since, its been stuck in protect. it goes into protect as soon as it gets power. i dont do anything to send it there lol.
