Default Hifonics BXi2608D or Crunch GP3000D-Pro

Need your suggestion in choosing an amp for my AQ HDC312 D2 (copper)

I am planning on competing some other time but mostly daily music application.

Can the HDC312 handle the Ginormous amount of Power the GP3000D-Pro will give it (3,000++ RMS on 14v i think) without burning or dying? At least safe on daily musical.

or should I be better of with the Hifonics 2608D?

reason is that, almost same in price range but the crunch really is the real deal.

Go with the Crunch, much better amp, and from what I've seen the HDC3 can take it if you're smart about it.

get the crunch.. just keep the gain down.

i do not beleive the hdc3 will hold together on 3k watts.

just be careful.

yeah, it is always nice to have a headroom that is why i am leaning towards the crunch. As for the electricals I don't think that my voltage will pass the 14v mark.

Points noted. of course I Will be very careful with the gain.

I know that the AQ 2200d is a very good match for the HDC3s but that's no headroom after all right? and might be a little weak for competition am I right?

also, the AQ2200 is rated at 14.4v (2200rms) so if I had only 12-13v that would prolly be 1800rms. I think that i won't be getting the full potential of the HDC312 at 1,800w Rms.

Crunch = 3points
BXI 2608D = 0point
AQ2200 = 1point
