Got my new MTX 7804 today at like 2:00. got my new box wired over the course of the day. going to install it tomorrow! should be intense. Videos coming soon!

3/4 inch ply with an inner frame made of 2x2's

nope. they all fire the same direction. if they weren't inverted i would have to.

if the subs are wired in correct phase it should sound the same as if all 4 subs were in the box. the 2 that are inverted would have to be phased oppositely in order to fire into the box properly.

compound loading takes more power...

get some mdf have somebody do a design for 2 of them and get 2 times the output

No i think MDF is sawdust compressed... if plywood is compressed sawdust how do you explain the knots in the wood?

thats particle board


plywood is made of thin plies of wood glues together with the grains in different directions to make it less flexible

if you want to bash some ones box, you should atleast know enough to figure out what it's made of

Plywood is pretty damn strong. My dad works at a plywood factory and that **** is strong as hell(well at least the stuff they make)

i think i do know thnx. i worked at a f**kin sawmill for 2 years that made plywood aswell. 1 ply of plywood is paper thin so bite me mr captain!

no, its not paper thin
if it were, 14 ply birtch would be about as thick as a CD
