Well I know I got a decent front agm battery from O'Reilly's, and I'm thinking about getting a batcap. How big should I go?

As far as actual numbers and math I'm not the guy to ask you're better off waiting till Pro or someone else gets here for that but I know the Sam's Club at a rate is 110 amp hours I believe and with your alt that you're getting I don't know if you're going to need any extra battery at all so I know if you bought the Sams club battery you'd be just fine. Right now I have a stock battery upfront no high output alternator with the Sam's Club battery in the back and I'm running a 2250 RMS crescendo amp easily and stay above 14v. Mind you i have pos and negative runs in 0ga and have big three done in 0ga as well

with your alt and the starter battery put a 105AH AGM in back...which are avalible at sams club.....btw them amps are known to do 2k at .5....so a little extra battery wont hurt

Ah, I gotcha. I just figured that the 110 ah battery would've been a bit much, but if it's working with your electrical that well then why not? Plus that's not a bad price for that. I'm just leaning towards the batcap since they seemingly have more advantages.

if you're running 1 ohm there's no need to add another battery.

i've got a saz1500 @ 1 ohm, singer 270a alt, and 2 g34 agm batts under the hood. I have no rear battery. Full tilt my voltage doesn't move, driving the amp into FULL clip i drop from 14.6 to 14.35. I have 2 2/0 + runs and a bunch of chassis grounds.

It's been a while so I forgot lol. I'd say call and see because they don't normally have them on stock.

i've got a saz1500 @ 1 ohm, singer 270a alt, and 2 g34 agm batts under the hood. I have no rear battery. Full tilt my voltage doesn't move, driving the amp into FULL clip i drop from 14.6 to 14.35. I have 2 2/0 + runs and a bunch of chassis grounds.
Gotcha. I'm still thinking about getting a batcap for good measure though. What's your opinion on those? And which would you suggest?

batcaps are good. you shouldn't need much. Although batcaps are xs money.. I'd take a xs power over a batcap.

i have a sams g34 and my stock delco agms under the hood, for reference. The delco is at least 6 years old, so i can't imagine its doing much. I'm not a huge fan of the duracell g34 agm myself. its got the flimsy top to side post adapter deal built in, i just feel like that's probably a con to the battery. If it was something that felt solid and wasn't going to break when i tighten a bolt down on it i'd feel a lot better.
