at .5 each amp will do around 2400-2500 watts...a pair strapped will most likely do about 5000

with proper electricals at .5 youll get over 6kw, but itll come down to your electricals.
a herc was benched at 12.5v at 1.15ohms and put out 24xxwrms but i havent heard of it being benched at .5ohms

im going to say that at bothof them together at .5ohms your going to get well over 8kw, but i dunno if it would be safe to strap two together at .5 because arent they only 2ohm stable strapped??

and btw, with almost 1.3k posts, you should know that its giong to take more than 15min for someone to answer your post

It has nothing to do with burning your subs up. It's all about your voice coil resistence. And I'll be willing to bet you will never get .5 ohm out of a Herc. Not saying it can't be done but It will take some serious LOW resistance. As in maybe some RE .7 ohm subs wired in parallel to get low.

no!!!!!!!!!!!
i mean if he COULD put his amp to .5
he has 4 ohm dvc's
if he had dvc 2 ohm it would be at .5 ohms then the amp would burn the subs
i guess i worded it wrong

Oic well you really need about .35ohm load from the subs to even see close to .5ohms. You have to calculate box rise and everything. So when you Wire to .5 ohm your probably going to really see 1 ohm.
