Kicker ZX 1000.1 Fused?

Ok, so i see lots of sales with the amp and a fuse and the remote. Is this because the amp itself is not fused? The amp says 100A fuse, but is this fuse directly on the amp. Tha amp again is the Kicker ZX 1000.1 2006 model. Thanks.

Cap'n, i knew you'd respond first, I don't want to assume anything, cuz then we're both, well lets not get into that. I want to know from someone who has the amp if there are fuses on the amp or not. Thanks anyway! Mr. insane post, your per day post is ridicolous!

being that it has a high current draw, a single external fuse is much better then multiple internal fuses.

so its not fused, but even if it is fused then i should externally fuse it close to the amp, so that makes fuses at the battery under the hood and a fuse by the amp. If I'm wrong it's ok, i haven't ordered the amp yet, so no ish no tish. Thanks!

yea you can fuse it that way just make sure that the first fuse from your battery is at least a 100 amp fuse or more just dont add anymore fuses the more fuses the current has to go threw you will suffer amperage and voltage lose if i wer you i would replace your fuse under the hood with the kicker suplyed fuse and a strait run to the amp otherwise you might starve the amp
