if you can give this amp 17 volts and have a fat alternator, then yes this amp will give you close to 2000 rms. If you don't have a 17 volt system and a fat alternator, then go a different direction. These amps are huge, inefficient, and way overrated. I owned one, thought I was getting a steal cuz i bout it at 350 shipped, it's not all that. the amp is stable to .5 ohms though, if you do buy it anyway. good luck!
If you go with H2s, ignore the box recommendations that Orion tells you and put them in a smaller box so they can handle their rated power. Orion's recommended enclosures are a bit too big, which is probably the biggest reason why people were popping them on 2krms.
An amp rated for higher Power than your subs is recommended. It will give you much cleaner power than if you match ratings and drive your amp to it's limit. Set your gains right so as to not overpower the speakers.
Sometimes, when I'm really nervous, I stick my hands in my armpits, and I smell them. *SSSSNNNNNNNNNHHHHHHHHHHHH*. SupahStahh!
