jensen amp troubles
 

my freind has a 1989 ford fullsize van and wants a little more power.he got a little 40 watt max jensen to push a set of optimus 3 ways but the only problem is it sounds like ****.they pop and crack at any volume and its not the speakers becuz i hooked it up to my 6/9s can any 1 help?

you can get a PA amp for 53 bucks, if your on a budget its your best bet

time to buy a better amp. jensen isnt one of the better companies to make car audio...also you could have a bad connection in the speaker wires somewhere or the rca plugs.............????

well he dielivers newspapers for a livin so hes runnin on a very small budget hed really like to get this amp workin but i cant figure it out! i used my monster cable rca's and new speaker wire but i dont know wyts wrong with it

The problem is its a jensen, hate to break it to you but if you tried that stuff and it doesnt work, toss it. Tell your buddy its time to let it go and upgrade even he has to throw a few more newspapers.

also check out some pawnshops or your local car audio shops.
you can find some good deals on some older stuff.
just gotta know what to look for rf, ppi, orion, autotek, hifonics, usamps.

he got a profile baja and it sounds damn good ill be hookin it up and ill let u know how it sounds!!

That Profile will be loads better than the Legacy. Good call on a budget amp!
