after jared offered to rep/promote the site at a upcoming show. i thought it'd be neat to get a roe street team going, much like they do for local bands. this will involve the printing and handing out of flyers. i'm not dead set on how this will work, but i will be looking for people who attend Car audio events on a regular basis and who are willing represent the site with a good attitude. i'm considering about giving those who are selected a roe street team shirt.

post your interest about having a street team. also, if you have any ideas, feel free to share.

I can handle Southeast NC and northern SC, I attend a lot of shows around there, and have connections to all the car audio shops in the area.

yea id definitly be interested, i love the site and its about time you got a team together

i love car audio and always interested in learning new things, i also rep the site all the times at a car audio shop i work with, showing customers vids from the site.
i try to attend all of the car audio events and competitions in the area, although i only make it to one every month or two, but i dont know what your looking for exactly

and you should put something at the registering area a box for if u found this site at a comp,flyer etc just to see how many people we would get from flyers and car audio comps

i think its a great idea and a good way to help out a site thats helped me out a lot....i personally attend every show in the southern louisiana/mississippi area and think the street team would be a cool idea

since my brother is in a band, i can sorta help out with ideas from what ive seen bands do.. aside from flyers.. handing out flyers is easier said than done.. some people dont seem interested in what you have or just dont care, so it may discourage you, so you stick to a younger crowd or people with show cars with setups in them, well remember theres older people who used to be into car audio as we are today, so dont get discouraged if no one seems interested.. dont ask them if they want a flyer, just hand it out to them, if you ask, alot of the times people will say no because they think it could be junk, and it may be to them, but people have friends and kids and cousins..etc.. that may give them the flyer, and that could be a person that will sign up. i mean today.. i dont think a single person took a flyer, but a kid that i gave one too..so it was a tough crowd, but we were not around the car show, so it was only the spl contestants really.. also.. this may be costly.. but shirts would be good to have for the street team.. you can get shirts made for cheap, if its just a single colored shirt that says "Team Realm Excursion" on the front and "www.realmofexcursion.com" , you'd only spend money on the shirt and the lettering, and you can actually buy letters at Wal Mart that you can iron on, but i have done that and it is pretty cheap and doesnt last long.. but i really think shirts would be a good idea... thats really all i have to add. being a small community, alot of you go to school, kids.. and just dont really have the money to contribute, and i understand "its just a site, i dont even know anyone on here" and all that.. but theres not really any sites like this. or any sites really dedicated to car audio with a maturity level higher than a middle schooler... so if we get this place to grow, bigger and better things can happen.. and thats all i got.. done blabbering.

Sounds like a great idea, you should put as part of the registration for the forum "where did you find this site" so we can find out if they got it from a flyer, sweatshirt, t-shirt, etc. I might be interested in representing a little bit, I tend to go to alot of car shows but they are usually classic car shows (as my dad drives a "classic" car).. But when there are car audio shows in my area I hit em... there usually isnt much going on with 100 miles of me tho

slowly and surely we will be represented in every connected state and Alaska, then our take over will be almost complete, the biggest problem is Hawaii, anybody got a boat car with a sick stereo we could take over there to conquer them too!?!?! This is gonna be sweet, i can't wait to go to a show or comp. and see a ROE Street Team Shirt, I'll freakin flip out! ! Maybe even do a happy dance if its sunny. Seriously though, i would have thought there was a ROE street team already, is there gonna be any db mark you have to hit to make the team, just so we are REALLY well represented?
