Honestly Steve, Im at a crossroad with the mesh... Im not sure right now, but once you get it on the other side, so it dosent look.... off balance and over the X-overs, I think I will like it. Havent seen that done before.... Like it or not 2 points for originality.

TT- thats cool man, thanks. I agree, once its on the other side it will be the deciding factor or me. If you didnt catch it, its a plexi window (see the pics, its reflecting a little) with the mesh over it. If it doesnt look right, the mesh comes out and the alternative is the window by itself which you cant go wrong with . Some people like it, some like the idea but a different pattern.........i feel you guys, believe me. Ive heard it a few times, but trust me it looks better in person so thats why im resisting some of the negative opinions They arent all negative, i got a few people on my side

i also think if i do the mesh/plexi at the xover rack up front, it will show a pattern in what im doing and help justify using that pattern in the back.

PERSON: "It looks like ass"

MEADE: "Maybe from 2300 miles away"

It is hard to see the plexi... to me anyway... thats probably because Im still all doped up on Percocet and its 3:30Am

None the less keep us posted..

(Now back to Adobe Audition to sink in some more music editing)

Anyways... It is looking good. I'm not sure if I like the mesh yet because it is something you see on every broken down work truck and seeing that mesh just reminds of some 1995 pos 1 ton ford or something like that...But that may be just me...

It will probably look awesome once it is finished though

yup i actually did toy with that idea but it makes it too hard to see thru it. Ill try a few options but in the end, ill just go plexi if im not happy with the outcome.

Now this isnt precisely the reason i dont listen to your guys suggestions right? Because when i do something that i already thought of WAY before you guys knew i was going to do it, everyone wants to take credit. I mainly resisted trying it because of visibility (and availability). It might be what you suggested along with probably 20 other people, but to be honest i already thought of it before any pics were posted. It isnt readily available on a Saturday like the other stuff is. Im still not sure ill be able to see thru it very good. If i can and it looks good it stays...if not it goes in the scrap bin with the other stuff.

again, thanks for the suggestions but you all were 2 days late on that so no credit for anyone but me

Yeah and I think, that even if he did have to take suggestions then he wouldn't be Steve Meade, not trying to suck your C()ck or nuthin but you have alot of respect for that reason

i will give the forum members SOME CREDIT (the four forums i post on and all the threads were at least 50/50 on the mesh i used)

you guys helped me see the light a little bit and because of that ill spend the 30 bucks to see if it will look right. I really dont think ill be able to see thru that good, but im gona try. Just dont be thinkin you thought of it first LOL because trust me if i had the stuff that matched better ON HAND dont you think i would have tried ?

so ya credit for pushing me over the edge and giving it a shot.....when it arrives ill post up pics for everyone's, including Elvis approval LOL

i admit, im stubborn, thats why i dont like people working with me....unless they are REAL good because everyone is always full of suggestions but not that many people have truly "been there, done that".

i have trouble accepting suggestions from people that havent been there or done that....too many chiefs not enough indians

if its a good enough idea i can consider it though sometimes....but im more likely to resist

even a professional needs a good opinion once in a while... ya either take it or leave it. . . giving credit or coming up with an audio idea is like telling a girl you have a 12 inch wang, pointless and not the first time they heard it.
