Default '87 Nissan Hardbody build-log

continuation of possibly the longest Build log in the history of ROE, just with a new owner. Work commences on Tuesday, so I'll post the starting pics now, and update them as DJ and I get it finished. Hoping to have it ready for SBN, but that all depends on the money.

Here's the original buildlog from Pornstar:

http://forum.realmofexcursion.com/showthread.php?t=2533

and here's some pics of how the truck sits now, minus the Maxximus, which Pornstar kept:

Thanks guys, it's going to be fun.

I've got subs and amps on lockdown, and probably batteries also. Just looking for a possible competitor discount on wiring, I'm going to need a lot of it.

Looks good. Still going to be a fartbox or a Bassracer?

And I think I might actually make SBN with a full system if tomorrow goes to plan. Would be cool to finally meet you.

A nice wash/detail, some decent looking rims (no bling), and that will be a sweet truck once again.

Hell yeah! It's a typical minitrucker thing to do. I've seen it done a lot. Look into the infiniti wheels. I think they look a little bit better. Plus, they're 20's!

Granted, the newer Esky wheels are 20's and 22's...

And if you're going to do more aesthetics, I'd recommend getting a newer ('95+) hood without the vents and the narrow body lines in the top. Maybe an updated grille ('95+) and bumper ('97, cause it's one piece) as well. 4x4 fenders are a big improvement in looks, too.

It's getting a bit more than that. '95 chrome bumper and grille, clear corners, new paint, new driver's fender, new passenger's door, new cowl, new hood vents, and then a nice decent paintjob.

The Escalade rims have to be bored out to fit the hubs though.

you are on the right track, most of what you have said is already in the plans, except for the 4x4 fenders, because I can't swap the bed so that the rear will match.
