On with more pics.... Just some pics of my electrical system...(yes I know I gots some bs batts but they work so...)






Yes I know I need a new fuse holder since the top feel off the one I have


A few 50ah agms thrown in the mix

Back batts grounded to the frame rail. Same side as main engine to frame an firewall..

Oh and the alt installed need to figure out how to get more belt contact to alt pulley tho

Got a volt gauge installed... Not bad 14.2 at idle fully warmed up...



So here's where I'm at now. Got sub amp hooked up and running but need to Build a rack for it and the 4 channel.

I was talking about about getting more belt contact with the pulley. It doesn't have any slipping but just thought it might help getting more out of it.

what kind of a tensionor does your tahoe have? is it a spring or a bolt? Getting a belt a hair smaller might help.

Well not sure as to what type. Believe it's the spring loaded type. As far as the belt a smaller one won't fit. I had to pry that one on with the tensioner fully depressed. Believe me I have very little play in it maybe like 1/8" in the tensioner.

Ok so the plan was to attempt to Build an amp rack this weekend, but looks like plans have changed a little. I got in touch with a guy about an hour away that's gonna meter my system. He's gonna use a term lab and an o scope so he rack will probably have to wait another week. But hopefully I'll have some good numbers to post Sunday. As long as I'm in the 140's I'll be happy. Well for now at least.

Ok I just got back from getting metered. 144.6 sealed in the kicks at 47hz. Not too bad, definatly have room for improvement. Maybe with a second alt and a few other things I can get closer to 150. But I'm happy with it for the mean time.

Ok a little update.… I switched out my sub today. Took out the 9515 till I get a bigger amp for it. In the mean time I went back to my 3518. On to what pics I have.

So I did a battery upgrade. After killing 2 of the c&d's tech batts, I got my hands on 5 bigger powerware batts. I took out the gold tops and got a platinum agm to go with the powerware agm's. hoping to change out the pos dc Power alt for something a bit more powerful and reliable here in the next few weeks.
