Yeah, it's pretty slow progress with work and school, but it'll get there eventually.

Got the RCA's in and the rest of the Speaker wire, remote wire, more sound deadening, and got some work done on the amp rack. I'm hoping to have the amp rack and sub enclosure installed this weekend, if the rain holds off.

It's been cloudy and looking like it may rain, so I tried to work quickly and didn't take any pictures. Which is fine, none of it is really photo-worthy progress lol.

Default Re: Toyota Tundra Build

Drilled some holes in the back panel to bring Wire to the amp rack, used plastic snap bushings to protect everything and keep it clean looking.

Test fitting the enclosure before it gets bolted down

No real loss in rear leg room

Default Re: Toyota Tundra Build

Got it finished finally! It sounds great and the sound deadening has made a huge difference!

Subs installed, these Sundown shallows sound great

Radio out, installing the LOC

Kickpanels in, running Q-logic kicks with RF components like what I have in the Mustang

And all cleaned up, it's been neglected while I focus on the audio install

that turned out quite clean looking.
those kisk panels look like the stick out q fair bit?
do the surrounds touch the back of the seat....or only when the seat is down?......they look pretty close

very nice work, thanx for sharing

Yeah, the kickpanels eliminate the dead pedal and take up some room on the passenger side. But, they difference in SQ from the extra components up front is worth the loss of space.

And no, the surrounds don't touch. The rear seats touch the top of the box when the seats are back, but I made sure there's enough of a gap so there's no contact with the sub, even at full excursion.

Thanks man, I'm happy with how it turned out. It's definitely not what I'd consider "loud" but it's good for a DD
