yeah your right, it was only 68 bucks... on top of the CD player that i bought for 90 that was broken. Or what about the amp that broke after 15 minutes of play time that i payed 430 bucks for?

Well.... i lost the case against him in the paypal dispute. Paypals policy says they can only refund when the shipment is not recieved or never took place. They can't refund you for something you did recieve but is not in the condition as promised.... so im **** outa luck unless this guy somehow gets morals and decides to not steal money from someone he's never met.

Did you pay through paypal with a credit card? If so you can call your credit card company and charge back that payment. So basically he wont have the money anymore and you can keep the broken ipod cause there is nothing he can do.

If i remember right he is i think like say 16 or so, i remember trying to sell him a HU and he wanted to give me a deposit and then have me shipp it and then later give me the rest. I didnt trust him so i didnt sell it to him.

tony have you tryed a hard reset then forcing it into disk mode i think its slect and rewind while its booting i know you mentioned trying tones of things. from what it sounds like this happened to me once hard reseted and held rewind and select and forced ipod into disk mode and jsut restored with the ipod software
