i bought a nakamichi 450 amp from him and he listed in the f/s thread it was 10 out of a 10 ,function wise , but when i got it ,,,,
#1 the gain knobs were broken and wont turn the gains anymore.......(he told me he knew the gains looked a little loose after i let him know about the problem) they were obviously broken , they looked like they were about to fall out

#2 it has 2 crossover switches 1 for channels 1/2 another for 3/4.....when i powered the amp up , the 1/2 channels were not putting out sound.....so i moved the crossover switch and the 2 channels started working , but if the amp was moved it would start to put out alot of static and the 2 channels would cut on and off ......

#3 i told him i wasnt happy about this and he said " i dont know what to do about it"

#4 this is the first thing i have ever bought off a forum and it will probly be the last.....

#5 he did pack the amp up well and shipped it really fast ....that is the only thing that was good about this transaction.....

So i told him to keep his money he made off the amp and i would never buy another thing off this forum again.......

i just wanted to express myself about this deal ...i dont want to start $hit but this is the only thing i could think of to let myself vent.......thanks

i do realize that all of you guys are not bad sellers....i just took a big leap of faith on my first forum type buy and got burned.....i buy most of my amps on ebay...that way if they do get to me , and they are not as described i actually can do something about it, or get my money back...........

Like I told you, I didn't mean for this to happen.
I would never intentionally sell someone an amp that I didn't think was in 100% working order.
...and "I don't know what to do about it." because I've never had this sort of problem before.
I would've refunded you some money or something...
You felt the need to bash me though in the end and now I probably have somewhat of a bad reputation.
Like I said, I'm sorry that this happened.
Let me know if there is anything I can do to remedy the situation.

i felt the need to post this thread because you didnt want to work out this problem....i did let you know that i had a problem with the amp , so the ball is on your court....
you never told me that you were going to refund some of my money.....you let me think i had no choice but to take a loss on it.....
if i sold this amp and i didnt check it out 100% and it turned out to be bad , i would have been all over this.......i would have offered a refund right off the batt.....i would never say "i dont know what to do about it, the amp worked 100%"
there is no way this amp worked 100%.....the gains will not turn....and the crossover switch is bad.......
also when you say it woked 100% when you tested it,,,, that just says that im a liar , like i broke the amp or something....which is not true........
if you was worried about you reputation on this site you would have went over this amp from one end to the other to make sure it was 100%.....seeing as how your "passion is amplifiers....."
if you want to remedy this situation , make me some kind of fair offer.....
if all goes well i will get corey to delete this post and i will make a good one about you....
