What are those numbers of? How many db's 1 of each of those subs can do? Doesn't that also depend alot on the box and amp tho?

Yeah Sony didn't actually do to bad. But I still can't believe it took you 4 of them to get 140 db's.

There seems to be a critical factor missing in these charts. Power to get the SPL obtained.

This is like posting ET times at a drag strip and not putting down what engine the vehicle had in it. Sure on Car could do 4 seconds flat.....with 2000hp behind it.

How much power did it take on each one of the top 5 drivers? This is crutial to the results. Not many of us want to waste our money on 5 amps just to drive the loudest woofer, when another driver is 1 db away with 1/3 less power.

What gives here?

I'm really impressed with the results, especially the SSD, I'm amazed it ended up louder then the Q with less wattage.

yes... in our opinion, it was approaching its mechanical limit.. and there's no sense in me potentially wasting my 250 dollar deposit for a few tenths gain...

if you want to talk to mike, and give me the green light.. I'll dump whatever power you want into it... up to 10kw... and retest..

thanks

w00t sounds good. Ya in this vid the wmd is getting 122.3 volts for 3.5 minutes at 4 ohms and it didnt die till the very end so i think it can do pretty well with more power for some burps

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IxTrXjSoOE

He(paul pierce) calculated it to be 3,721 watts.

4 ohms, 60hz, 122 volts
