eghh...ported doesnt sound as clean which bothers me, but i dont have the room or money to get loud in a sealed set-up, so, i will stick with ported for now, but i feel what your saying, cuz sealed sounds better to my ears

Ive been building tlines, and horns for years, they are easy to mold based on eq insulation, line area, and they are always impressive to me, no matter how small or large of a woofer I use.... I did my own tests between dual 12" sealed, dual 12" ported, and single 12" tline, with half power, and the tline killed in over all spl output, and low freq extension
a better box than even a tline is actually a sealed band pass tline... basically sealed back side of woofer, boosted with a eq slightly, and line to match boost, and you have 1 HELL OF impressive subwoofer system
