Default Hooray new 6x9's!

Welp.... I thought I would update my 10 year old Pioneer front stage, and go support the local audio Shop...

What I bought were 2 Pioneer Ts- A6961R 6x9's...

going to install them now...

But I do have a Crunch 1600.1 and my 2 Sidewinders waiting for my Accord!

Holy crap... These are the BEST I've heard for 6x9's...

Pioneer is BEST with Pioneer...

They were $90.... Like I said, supporting the Local audio shop, and I needed something to occupie me for a while.

Pics??

I will google some pics real quick.

What am I doing with them?? Mounting them in the stock 6x9 location of the Safari's... Right up front.

93db sensitive.
2-40 watts RMS... Running roughly 15 watts to each and they are quite loud.

I have to tune them a LOT because they support their own Highs and mids balance... I used to have my highs at 3, now they are at 1... and I had to set my EQ Control from 13k, to 4k.

The sidewinders are in the mail. I believe the 6x9's are pretty in tune.

Full fledged review:

Highs: 8/10. Crystal clear, but vary sharpness in different Hz.

Mids: 9.5/10. You can hear EVERY bit of the song that wouldn't have been thought possible from anything lesser quaility... Fireman is a good SQ song for highs and mids... and subs.

Lows: 7/10. They do hit the lows, but it's not a noticable loudness... But above 160hz sounds Really nice some them.

Highs: 80/100
Mids: 95/100
Lows: 70/100

Overall: 81 out of 100.
