This sounds like a sonic disaster. How are you going to run all thos drivers on that amp and filter the proper frequencies to the varying size drivers?

Ok the cons..... The cost of all those drivers adds up quick, they are all 8 ohm drivers, and none of them are designed to run as infinite baffle speakers.. So they would need to be placed in enclosures.

For the cost, I would just go with some proper car audio components, and call it a day. But hey, If your serious about it, I'm sure we could come up with a way for you to wire it all up........that's going to be a big job though.......

Those amps have 2 crossovers (one for channel 1+2, one for 3+4) so you would have 8 channels and 4 crossovers to work with......totally doable....

I could make a wiring diagram that would work on paper, but your still left with the fact that these don't seem to be well suited to IB applications

Does the amp have bandpass for the mids?

Look above where it states Hi/Full/LP/BP.....BP is bandpass. shocking. So as much as I think this is a hoirrible idea and will yeild a really bizzarre soundstage it will work to a degree. Run your tweets on the front 2 channels. I forgot how many you want but that's another story. Just stay within the allowable impedance. Turn the crossover switch to hp and you will need to know the safest frequency range to cross over the tweets. A safe rule is double the fs. Lets say 5k just as an example. Since there are no markings on the crossover dial it can be tricky to set it right. Dowload a test tone at that frequency and play it low to set the hp for the tweets.

On to the mids on the other two channels. I think you want to run differnt size mids on the same channels? Am I following you right? The larger mids can play lower than the smaller ones. that's the problem. You can set up the channels to take full advantage of the larger mids but risk blowing the smaller ones. What I mean by bandpass is a hp and lp for the mid channels which that amp can do. The one will cut off the frequency on the high end to match the tweets and the other will cut it off on the low end to match up to the sub.

You can use the same tone that you used to set the tweet crossover to set the mid. Turn the dial until it starts to play the tone and maybe back off a hair. On the low end you will need another tone at the lowest frequency you want them to play. That's the tricky part since you want different sizes. You can set it to the larger ones and add an inline cap to the smaller ones to protect them.

Did I lose you with that?

you can use the crossovers on the amp so you dont need external crossovers.

If you already have 2 separate 2 channel amps whay do you want a 4 channel? Run the tweets on one and the mids on the other.
