What kind of numbers will I be looking @ with my SX?
I've finally decided that I want a SQ based system because I don't like the way ported enclosures sound. I used to have 3 12's in a Sealed box, and I remember how much I liked the way it sounded. It seemed like it had a better frequency curve. I am not comparing my SX to them, but I do want to Build a Sealed for my SX and get a better amp.
I was wondering what kind of number would be about right for a SX in a sealed box... Should it hit over 140's @ say 45Hz or so. I am not building it for a SPL, as you can tell. I am just trying to envision the type of output I'll get.
my SX was pathetic in a Sealed box.. had it in a 2.85 cu ft sealed box and in all honesty a memphis PR in a sealed box was just as loud.. its weird with these subs you throw them in a sealed box and you just want to get rid of them.. put them in a vented box and the boner comes alive
