What subs/amps are you trying to install? I think the biggest thing your gonna fit behind the seats withought loosing a lot of legroom is probably either 2 10s in a sealed box or a 12 in a ported box.................. (thats all i could ever fit im mine anyways)
standard cab s-10. you could do a cut through or you could just do a full wedge box. but if i remember correctly you only have like 10-11 inches on the bottom in depth and around 4 at the very top. not much room for higher end subs or room for a port.
meh yea your beest bet is to go with the blow through, I've had three different boxes behind my seat, but none of them compare to the blowthrough i have now.
If you go all the way to the bottom you don't have 4in. or less you wanna loose a LOT of leg room. You can get about 2CF if you don't mind loosing a little legroom. I'm saving up for a 10 Fi SSD and im gonna put it in a 1.5CF ported box. im thinking a good 10 in a ported box and a nice amp would be the best setup in a regular cab S10 or less you wanna do a blow through.
well rite now i have a lightning audio x1.10.vc2 ,im gettin a blow thru when i get a another ,but for right now im jus want a ported s-10 box , i really dont want to lose leg room but maybe 1 click or so i have a bench seat in mine
well the sub requires like 7.5 mounting depth so i mite have to lose sum leg room ,,,99s10ls do u have an account at s10forums cuz i thinks i seen ur alpine setup
Yea, i am 99s10ls on S10forum too. The setup was great...... but i lost just a little too much legroom. Im hoping a 10Fi SSD with about 900watts will be as loud or louder than the type R.
