Default SPL measuring with windows down

In recent competitions here, the judge will measure dB when the windows up and windows down. Then they summarize the values and then divide by 2 , thats the final score. What should i do or what should be done, if i want the dB value up either with the windows up nor down ?

There really isn't a way to affect your score either way. Just play by their rules and hope you're louder than the others.

Heres a question...is it likely that having the windows down would have a bigger effect on one system than the other?

Default SPL with windows down

Sorry, not windows down ,but all the front doors are open..
Do maximazing the closed door tuning will take a huge effect (db drasticly go up or down )when the doors are opened ?
Are there theories behind this ?
