I was hoping for a faster turn around time. The reason I haven't built one from the sticky section is because I wanted a square port. Thank you for the info

box turned out good, sa sounds great and gets lower/louder than my previous setup. 500rms is not enough for this sub.

Depending on the size of the enclosure, it'll take up to double the 500. They are a very good sub for the money, as are most sa products.

Pick up a second sub. A pair on the 1500 will do very well.

yeah that be a good match then the 1500 is rated at 930 at 2ohms not for sure what it will really do but by adding a second sub your double your cone area PLUS get more Power out of the amp being able to run at 1ohm.

this SA sounds amazing on the alpine, however I can tell that it's severely underpowered. I'm not a huge fan of dual sub setups in trunk vehicles such as my alero. just not enough room.

single sub, optimum box, big clean power. in fact i may just pull the d4sa and make it a garage sub and order a d2sa to run on the saz
