Hello again. I finally have the time to post up the T-Line Build log for the Anarchy 6.5" Woofer. Luckily for me the plans have already been made as far as the T-Line aspect goes:
Now this will be tuned to around 25 Hz for Home Theater use. At this point and time I will utilize two of these. Now as you can see I will be cheating a little bit and getting the Flat pack for these but will save me the mass majority of getting angles right, etc...
Now I've been tossing around a lot of ideas as far as finish in my head so here it goes:
The A facing the front (towards port). This is just one side. Lettering will either be on both sides or just one side. Not sure yet. Raised lettering rounded over to get rid of the sharp angles.
The paint scheme:
Piano Black (or otherwise known as High gloss finish)
The accent for the lettering will be blue
I've also thought about putting White (High Gloss) accent strips (total of two sets on the sides, two bellow the Anarchy right side and two above left side as oriented in pic above).
You may be wondering why all the fancy accents. Well these will be visible in my future HT build. No way will I hide these. Seeing the whole build will be based around the Anarchy 6.5. With having these in my Car I've noticed they have a LOT of potential (specifically HT use) and I will take my time getting the right crossovers, placement, ect...
I do have a question:
Should I look into adding acoustic foam in the corners/entire inside?
I've got a lot of man hours ahead in this build and I'm sure I will have questions for the paint geeks around here on ROE. Keep posted as once the flat packs become available I will get this started. The 8 ohm anarchy's I have in my car now will go into the T-lines. They are being replaced with the 4 ohm versions.
The T-Lines will be powered via the Bash 300W Digital Sub Amp from Parts Express. These will be seeing roughly 150Wrms, 75W each (seems to be right around the limit Power wise). That will keep these fairly safe below 20Hz. At least that's the general consensus.

Very much. I need something to do over the winter months and wanted to get into some serious painting/molding work so this will be a good learner.
I will practice on a sample piece before I do the real thing but I will make sure to take a lot of pics and keep everyone updated. The Flat pack will help out a lot as far as the actual piece but 99% of the time this will take will be the paint and body work.

Looks like its gonna be a lot of fun. We should throw one or both in the civic on the brz to see what it will do in there And I just cant wait to cut out all those letters with my jigsaw. I can feel the pain in my hands from all the sanding already.

Ya I'm not sure what we will do there. I may look into seeing if someone local that could possibly do them via a CNC Router. May have to outsource that. If anyone knows of someone who would do this let me know. I know These flat packs will be cut with a CNC Router so I may ask Erich and see if the company he is using to do the flat packs will do up a special order for me.
Anyone hear of PolyFab? The accept user files:
For 2D cutting: *.dwg, *.dxf, *.eps, *.ai,
For vee bit carving: *.eps, *.ai,
For 3D machining: *.igs, *.3dm, *.stl

All of it will be cut. Including circles. Best thing about the flat pack. You won't be doing all of it. I will try to do as much at my place as I can. I will need to build the box at your place though. Seeing you have my glue (if it hasn't been used up and the brad nailer). All we literally need to do is glue A to A and B to B etc... Oh and install the driver.
Unless your talking about the 5 other speakers I will eventually build then Ya. By then I will invest in a circle cutter. We can upgrade our building process lol.
Lol we need to go halfsies on one of Toolmakers router jigs. That will be wonderful. And yeah bro, your glue is long gone lol but no worries, I got more.

Ok awesome. Sorry I updated the post. Ya I didn't see you were talking about the letters.

This build is from a Flat pack so really the mass majority of this project will be paint and finish. The flat pack itself (assuming he uses the same material from the previous flat pack) will be half inch Voidless Baltic Birch.
I am also still waiting for my 4 ohm anarchy's (will replace the 8's in my car and the 8's will be used in the horns), the flat pack itself. Along will all the other items needed. Which I won't get those till I have the drivers and the flat pack is ordered.
Be patient it will be up soon
Now as you can see this is only the beginning of my future HT build. I have plans for an all Anarchy (for now 5.2) HT setup. I have plans to build my own entertainment AV center. But as you know this takes money so it will be a work in progress for years. As far as the exact layout I haven't gotten to that step yet. I'm thinking a MTM layout all around. I may go 3-way for the front L/R but will have to see how the horns act.

Finally received the first of Two Anarchy Horn Flat packs. I am waiting on some PL Premium construction adhesive and its looking like I will need some assistance so I will be talking to 98Civic and hopefully get this done this coming weekend. Shouldn't take long as its all assembly but I don't have the proper clamps to do it myself.
There are some included screw options but they are all interior and the exterior will be somewhat fun to get it to seal correctly. Anyway i will get pics and such when I have the time.

It shouldnt be a problem finding a few hours to do assembly this weekend. We will just use the little nail gun where we need to as well as the clamps. I don't think it will be that bad since its already cut. Don't forget we are used to sh!tty free hand cuts with the circular saw

lol. these are actually straight so we should be golden.

Got the first of at least two Anarchy horns built. Forgot to grab the camera for this build but won't forget for the next one. Right now I have it hooked up in a 2.1 temp setup in my room on very little power no thanks to a PPI900.4 in limp mode. Long story.
Anyway there have been some slight changes to the finishing of these boxes but do hope to get the other kit in the next month and hope to grab the finishing supplies and start work on that. Will have to see. Need to get things paid off

Finally got some extra spending money so have ordered the second kit. Plan to get it built as soon as I can. This time I will get loads of pics.
Also a little update on the one horn I do have. I've VERY impressed with how well designed, accurate and crisp (ya sounds weird to say this for a sub) the horn/Anarchy combo is. To date the best sounding (accuracy, crispness) setup I've heard (that includes car audio, BUT I haven't heard any purely SQ setups with a sub stage that blends well with the front stage).
I do have most of my painting gear now but am still waiting for some important safety items to grab as well.
