t215d2 rf power bigger box lower tune???

Any one have experience with putting one in 4-5ft2 tuned to 28-32...running 3.25 maybe 38 not happy with the lower hz..

Why not just rebuild the box snd tune it lower? Bigger isn't always better.

4 sure but most the time a bigger box for a lower tune is better...that's my option...

Better to a point. Its true that space makes bass but you will get to the point where you are bottoming out you sub easily.

Subsonic filter on 20hz would help?

I really think a tune around 30 would be more than enough. Most music doesnt play below the mid 30s unless you listen to bass enhanced music like decaf and djsnt.

I really want 2 rebuild it I think the weak point is the coil and not a fan of the aluminum cone Psi will rebuild it 4 180

the whole sub is somewhat sub par IMO... but to each his own.


with only 1200 watts nominal I would up box size to 4 cubes and tune to 30. You can always shrink the box if you are losing too much cone control.

I agree but the motor and basket is solid I think a better 4' coil and cone would make it really come alive...I guess that my next thred..lol
