Default How do I wall

I'm thinking about going wall for my 2 18s... how do I do it? Is there like a write-up on the basics of doing a wall set up?

Walls are a ton of work and not always the loudest option.

If its a extended cab Build a window line box and call it a day thats what I would do ... a half wall so to speak but it will be relatively easy to remove

It's a f150 supercrew aka ext cab. What do you mean by window line though? Do you mean the side windows or rear window? I was planning on just going up to my side windows but if going an extra few inches to get to my back window would make it louder then id do that.

Yeah I really wasn't actually planning on walling I was just curious and if it was easy enough I might do it, but obviously it's not lol.

Walling it off is a lot of work, obviously, compared to a straight box but isn't necessarily hard. The major issue is you'll have to do a lot of things to the vehicle that can't be undone, so will affect resale. But, being that you have a truck and not an SUV, you might be able to get away with a few things others can't.

The few inches of difference between your side windows and the rear one will only matter if you're really cramped on space. 2 18's are gonna need about 15-16cuft gross so figure out your dimensions and go from there.

For window line, if you're considering competing at all, stay below the lowest window. If it'll never be in the lanes, the little bit of height difference won't really affect much, just go as big as needed to get enclosure volume.

This ↑ is what I mean by window line if you compete in the lanes and its above the lowest window line even by an inch they make you compete in the wall class
