Default First fiberglass project ever
Ordered a set of re xxx6.5's, and didnt have anywhere to fit the unnecessarily large (but beautiful haha) tweeter bezel. I could fit it on the door panel, but it is very close to the door handle. Since there is no grill on the silk dome, I just knew someone would mash it in trying to find the door handle in the dark.

I decided to give glassing my sail panels a shot. I kept them in a more factory orientation (facing the center of the car, not the passengers). From what I read they sound better slightly off axis anyway, but we will see. Plus this was my first time glassing, so I didnt want a more complex shape/having to block out the baffle ring.

Overall, I think they turned out pretty decent for having no idea what I was doing...

Still have to make a baffle for the mids and re run some Wire for the front stage. Probably wont be in until next weekend

i like how you matched the colors...i put tweeters in my pillers and now one saw them unless i pointed them out. good job.....stinky n slow isnt it.

Got one side in and done today. I couldn't get a good picture in the low light, but Here is a blown out, cell picture for now:



On a side note, I am absolutely blown away by these components.

I had a hard time getting decent pictures with all the sunlight/shadows, so this is the best I could do. The dash is dirty as hell... dont judge me.
