I have a question about WinISD. I need help from very experienced users. My question is about vent velocity. I usually keep the vent velocity between 17 and 19 m/s because every resource I've read has recommended that as an optimal number. I have had good results with this method. However, sometimes it seems like the port is too large to achieve that velocity. I know some subs prefer smaller ports to have a means of cone control. Does anyone have advice on achieving proper vent mach and port area? I figure a formula using the subs xmax would be the most accurate method to determine port surface area, but I've founding nothing out there.
